has been in existence since 1936. It has always been on the
cutting edge of supplying necessities to a growing America.
Since its inception, Aywon has been owned and operated as a
family business. This enables us to maintain strict quality
control and superior services. Aywon exists in today’s
marketplace among the huge conglomerate factories because of
its fair competitive pricing and realistic lead times. At Aywon

In 1952
our founders recognized the need for manufacturing quality products
for the nation’s educational system. This led to the creation
of our chalkboard division. Today we are a complete facility
for custom and volume manufacturing of chalkboards, markerboards,
corkboards, fabric covered tackboards, portable units, horizontal
and vertical sliders, display cases and cabinets. All of these
products are fabricated in our Brooklyn, N.Y. plant to architectural
or Board of Education specifications. In addition, Aywon offers
a complete line of projection screens and related items produced
by Draper and Stewart, two of the country’s leading manufacturers.
